Wonderful tour, great product!

If you're visiting Mahón, a stop at the Xoriguer Distillery is a must—not just for gin lovers, but for anyone interested in local history and craftsmanship. Housed in a rustic, working distillery right on the harbor, Xoriguer offers a unique glimpse into one of Menorca’s proudest traditions.

This isn't just a business—it is a legacy. The same family recipe has been used since the distillery was founded in the 1700's, and they haven’t cut corners or modernised for the sake of efficiency. You can feel that commitment to authenticity in every aspect of the visit.

Xoriguer’s signature gin—infused with wild juniper berries—has a distinctive, aromatic flavour that sets it apart from anything you'd find in a typical liquor store. They also offer a range of other local liqueurs, some infused with herbs or citrus, all available to sample.

Overall, this isn’t a flashy, high-tech tour—it’s charmingly old-school, much like the gin itself. I’d highly recommend it to anyone interested in traditional distilling methods, regional culture, or simply enjoying a well-crafted spirit in good company.
