Torralbenc is a traditional Menorcan farm that has been renovated into luxury accommodation and wine cellar, respecting the rich heritage and archaeology of the area. It is made up of a set of white-washed farm buildings dating from the 19th and early 20th century, that were used in the past for farming tasks and that have been carefully restored to recover the essence of the architecture and the natural environment that surrounds it.
Located close to the village of Alaior on a privileged small hill surrounded by our vineyards and with commanding views of the Mediterranean, Torralbenc is close to some of the most extensive sandy beaches on the island. The nearby archaeological remains dating from the second millennium BC located underscore the importance of their location as a vantage point, overseeing the southern coast of Menorca.
The 77 hectares of the estate are perfectly integrated with the agricultural landscape that surrounds Torralbenc, with 14 of them intended for vineyards and a cellar, where they produce their our own-label wine. Strolling around, you will come across typical features of Menorca’s countryside, such as old threshing floors, stables, traditional country houses or even the traditional dry stone walls, which were formerly used to separate plots. Torralbenc also hosts archaeological remains that date back to the second century BC. All of it in a natural landscape, less than 2 miles away from the Mediterranean sea and surrounded by horticultural fields, wild olive forests and classic Mediterranean underwood.
