Pizzeria Roma, in the old town of Ciutadella, is a century-old bakery converted into a pizzeria serving some of the best pizzas in Menorca.

Its name. could be misleading because, while it's true that their pizzas are phenomenal - thin and made in a wood-burning oven with flavors like the menorquina (onion and sobrassada, the traditional Balearic Island cured sausage), squid, fresh shrimp and olive, spinach, pine nut and roquefort - their reportoire also champions rice dishes like the shellfish caldoso, stews like the fricandó, fish like tuna or cod, shellfish and red prawns or langoustines, and tasty pastas with Mediterranean ingredients.
