Sa Pedrera des Pujol
One of the oldest restaurants in Menorca, it started out as a snack bar in the 1960s, where residents and the island’s first tourists would gather to celebrate. After passing through various management positions, it was transformed into a restaurant, where the new owner offered global cuisine and her own specialty, the curious Chinese fondue.
In 2003, a young Asturian couple, Nuria Pendás and Daniel Mora, settled on the island and became regular customers of the restaurant and then acquired the premises to develop their life project.
Every year thereafter, a change - an improvement - has made Sa Pedrera a reference for fine dining on the island. Chef Daniel Mora has Menorcan roots, going back several generations on his mother's side, where all his knowledge of island gastronomy comes from. After studying hospitality in his native Asturias, together with Nuria, they decided to come to the island to try their luck.
